Since the beginning of 2023, entrepreneurs have voluntarily removed 170 signboards from Perm streets
In the year of Perm's 300th anniversary, a lot of attention is being paid to bringing the elements of improvement in line with the requirements for the architectural appearance of the city, including advertising and signage.
Specialists of the City District Administrations regularly inspect streets for compliance with the architectural requirements of the city, including the placement of advert boards and signage posters on the facades of buildings. Signboards that do not comply with the City Landscaping Rules and are not recorded in the colour certificate of the buildings are subject to dismantling. Based on the results of the raids, information on non-compliant signboards is entered into the register. Also there are warnings to businessmen about voluntary removal of a signboard. If the owner fails to comply with the warning, the signboards will be dismantled and the owners will be charged for dismantling, moving and storing the signboards.
Thus, since the beginning of 2023, 170 signage posters have been voluntarily dismantled in Perm city districts. In total, more than 3,700 inappropriate signboards were identified in 2022 and more than 2,900 of them were dismantled.
As a reminder, information on signage placement and approval of colour certificates for buildings can be found on the official website of the Perm administration.
